Community Buildings
The City of Baxter has two community buildings available to rent for your functions. Whether it's a family reunion, graduation party, anniversary or other celebrations either of the facilities can be booked for you to host your event. To reserve one of the locations please contact City Hall to complete the neccisary paperwork. There is a $100.00 deposit required at the time of reservation. The fees for renting the buildings are:
Old Community building at 506 W 4th $45.00
Will accomidate approximatly 35 people
New Comunity Building at 1101 East Avenue $80.00
Will accomidate approximatly 200 people
Reservations are taken on a first come first served basis.
Each building is equipped with a kitchen and the W 4th street location has a small playground area.
You will be required to go by City Hall to obtain the key on the day of your function, or the last work day prior to if it will be on a weekend or holiday. You will be responsible to clean the facility upon completion of your event and to place all trash in the containers provided. Failure to clean the facility may make you forfeit your deposit.
